Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how the BookingSolved app for iPhone and iPad (“BookingSolved”, “the app”) handles information. BookingSolved is built around a simple idea: you intentionally share one piece of scheduling content at a time, and processing is designed to happen on your device. There is no BookingSolved account system at launch, no connected inbox, and no BookingSolved advertising SDK.
BookingSolved is operated by the BookingSolved operator. The operator’s formal legal identity and contact details will be published in this policy before public launch.
2. Information BookingSolved processes
The app works with these categories of information:
- Scheduling content you intentionally provide (pasted text, chosen screenshots, or content shared through the iOS Share Sheet)
- Apple Calendar data on your device, with your permission
- Scheduling preferences you set (such as work hours and typical appointment duration)
- Local app records that support functionality (recent actions, duplicate-prevention records, undo data)
- Subscription and purchase entitlement information handled by Apple and RevenueCat
BookingSolved does not ask for your name, email address, client list, or contacts, and has no access to your message inboxes.
3. Scheduling messages and text
BookingSolved only receives message text that you paste into it or share to it. It cannot browse, sync, or monitor your conversations in Messages, Instagram, WhatsApp, or any other app. Interpretation of scheduling details (days, times, durations, intent) is designed to run on your device using Apple frameworks.
4. Screenshots and text recognition
When you choose or share a screenshot, its text is extracted using Apple’s on-device Vision text recognition (OCR). The image and recognized text are processed on the device and are not uploaded to BookingSolved-hosted servers. Screenshots you share are stored temporarily as described in section 9.
5. Apple Calendar access
With your permission, BookingSolved reads your Calendar to check availability and detect conflicts, and writes to the work calendar you choose — only when you approve an action. Calendar data stays in Apple’s Calendar system; BookingSolved does not maintain a separate copy of your calendar on external servers. You can revoke Calendar access at any time in iOS Settings, which disables scheduling features.
6. Work Memory
“Work Memory” is the small set of scheduling preferences the app keeps so it can prepare useful suggestions: your work hours, typical appointment duration, and your chosen work calendar. It is stored locally on your device and can be changed or cleared in the app’s settings.
7. Booking Memory
To prevent duplicate bookings, the app keeps short, local records (fingerprints) of recently booked appointments. These records are capped in number, stored on the device, and used only to warn you when a message appears to describe an appointment that already exists.
8. Recent Actions
The app keeps a short, local list of your recent scheduling actions so you can review what was prepared and undo material changes. This list is capped, lives on the device, and can be cleared in the app’s settings.
9. Temporary raw input
Content you share into BookingSolved (text or an image) is stored temporarily in the app’s protected storage so it survives app switching. Raw shared input is automatically deleted within 48 hours, and you can delete it sooner from within the app.
10. On-device processing
Scheduling messages and screenshots are designed to be processed on your device rather than uploaded to BookingSolved servers. BookingSolved does not operate its own backend for message content and does not send your scheduling content to third-party AI services. Where the app optionally uses Apple’s on-device intelligence features, that processing also runs locally under Apple’s system design.
11. RevenueCat and Apple subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed through Apple. BookingSolved uses RevenueCat, a subscription-infrastructure provider, to support subscription entitlement functionality (knowing whether your subscription is active). RevenueCat receives purchase-related information such as receipt validation data and an anonymous identifier — not your scheduling messages, screenshots, or Calendar contents.
12. Purchase and subscription information
Apple manages payment, billing details, and refunds under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices. BookingSolved never sees your payment card details. Entitlement status (whether Pro is active) is stored on your device and, where applicable, shared between the app and its Share Extension through Apple’s App Group storage on the device.
13. Analytics and advertising
The app contains no third-party analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no cross-site or cross-app tracking. This website is also operated without third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies.
14. Sharing
BookingSolved does not sell information and does not share your scheduling content with third parties. The only third parties involved in operating the product are Apple (platform, payments, Calendar system) and RevenueCat (subscription entitlement), as described above. Information may be disclosed if required by law.
15. Retention
Local records follow the lifetimes described above: raw shared input is deleted within 48 hours; recent actions and duplicate-prevention records are capped and roll over; preferences persist until you change or clear them; appointments live in Apple Calendar under your control. Deleting the app removes its local storage.
16. Your controls
- Choose exactly what the app sees — it only processes what you hand it
- Approve or decline every prepared Calendar action
- Clear recent items and pending shared input in the app’s settings
- Change or revoke Calendar permission in iOS Settings
- Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings
- Delete the app to remove its local data
17. Security
Local data is stored using iOS data protection, and shared input handed off from the Share Extension uses Apple’s protected App Group storage. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but keeping processing and storage on the device substantially limits exposure compared with server-based designs.
18. Children
BookingSolved is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed at children. The app does not knowingly collect information from children.
19. International users
BookingSolved processes scheduling content on the device, in your region. Apple and RevenueCat process subscription information under their own international data practices. Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information — requests can be raised through the contact below.
20. Changes to this policy
If the app’s data practices change — for example, if optional features involving new processing are added — this policy will be updated first, with the “Last updated” date revised. Material changes will be described plainly rather than buried.
21. Contact
Questions about this policy can be raised through the support page. A direct legal contact will be published here before public launch.
