Confirm which appointment first
Clients with recurring bookings often write “can we move it an hour later?” without saying which one. If there's any doubt, ask — moving the wrong appointment is worse than a short delay.
When you check, look at the original duration. A 2-hour full set moved an hour later needs the full 2 hours free at the new time, not just the start slot.
Offer two options, not an open question
“What works for you?” restarts the whole back-and-forth. “I can do Thursday at 11 or Friday at 3” usually settles it in one reply.
Offering exactly two or three options keeps the decision easy and avoids implying you're wide open.
